For mothers and babies, a safe pair of hands at birth can be the difference between life and death! Experienced midwives, like Zainab, have helped deliver thousands of babies safely.
As part of the #SHINE programme, UNICEF Somalia, Health Poverty Action and partners, with funding from UK in Somalia, are supporting the training, retaining and managing of nurses and midwives to give more children the chance to survive and thrive.
